It Is Your Responsibility!

Taking ownership of your dreams and creating the life you desire

What you want out of life is your responsibility. It is not anyone else's.

How I hired a marketing team and expected them to do things for me rather than me taking responsibility for myself.

If you desire to be famous, rich, settled, an entrepreneur, whatever it is, it is your responsibility to show up every day.

If you want to be a content creator then show up to your work every day. Create more and consume less.

Law of attraction, manifestation, attracting more abundance all work but it works when you know what you want. You have to be sure of yourself. You can't be confusing the Universe. Actually Universe doesn't have any confusion, it's you. Therefore, get sure of what you want to create and then go towards that direction. You will get what you want. For instance, if you want to have a certain number of followers then you have to work towards that. If you don't have any content out there then don't expect to have followers.

💡

The way you feel right now about your creative side is your responsibility. If you are successful then that is because you put in all this hard work.

Consuming content can be tricky if you don't know how to detach - for instance, looking at someone travel and wear all these name brand bags and wishing you had the same. Well, you can. But you have to choose that for yourself and be sure for that is what you want. You will get whatever you put your energy on but you have to do the work, you have to show up. Just start now!

When it comes to being successful like I mentioned you need to know what you want. It can be in any genre but take responsibility of showing up, working hard, working late at night. If you truly enjoy what you do, then you won't mind putting in the work. It doesn't necessary have to be work, it can be all fun and games. It should be all fun and games.

For the longest time I was building resistance to editing videos. I kept saying I don't know how to do it and I would reply on my marketing team. But once I accepted that it is my responsibility, well that resistance completely shifted to me wanting to do it. Editing it the way that I love it.

Another way to take ownership to your responsibility is to be consistent. Show up rain or shine, you are doing this for you! If it means dressing up and staying home to create content, well then do that. Put in the effort, in the beginning it might be hard but if you keep showing up, eventually you will love it.

Also, taking ownership and responsibility just feels good. That in itself shows that you are serious about what you want. It shows that this is what you want and you are willing to work on it.

In the beginning, your creative outlet might seem cringe to you, everyone goes through that phase, but turn that cringe-ness into learning opportunity. Learn from it. See what works and what doesn't.

There are certain things I want to manifest but I know that if I don't put in the work towards building myself and my passion then it will be harder to manifest and honestly, even if you manifest without effort and responsibility, will you enjoy it? The only way we can know what we want is by being aware of it and then silently working towards that. What I mean silently is that no one needs to know how tough you have it or how many hours you put it. It isn't pity if it is what you want. Putting in the work should be joy.

So, let me give you some steps for you to take responsibility.

Steps to Take Responsibility

  1. Take out your journal and jot down what you want to do.
  2. Once you are clear of what you want from life, list ways you can show up for yourself.
  3. Once you have that down take a post it or any paper and write it down that this is what you want. Look at it every morning before starting your day. Don't dilly dally away from it. Stay consistent to what you want. For instance if you are writing a book, show up every day. Even if you are just editing, show up everyday.
  4. Build that momentum and confidence will come.
  5. With confidence, you will start seeing results.
  6. Take out all negativity and excuses. TAKE RESPONSIBILITY.

Alright, this is what I have for today. Take care and I will see you soon. Please leave a comment if you have decided to take responsibility. I am cheering for you my friend!
