Routines create habits, habits equal success!!
Recently I have taken on a routine to write in the morning, and after that I work on my blogs and my other work. I try to do four hours of intense work and then I do other things that make me happy.
The reason I am telling you my schedule is because I have realized that when you don’t have a routine, you are the reason you don’t grow. What I mean by this is that when we don’t have a routine, we get bogged down by our mind to do things that are not towards our growth.
Scrolling on social media, filling in time doing things that aren’t evolving you, or even texting. Whatever it is, you need to have a routine with that routine, you can create intentions that you follow up on.
Most of us are scared when it comes to growth. We want it but we are afraid of it. We think of the future and what it must be like. But in all reality if we don’t do the work, there is no future. That is why it is so important to be aware of this now. What are you doing now? What makes you so happy now? I know reading and writing go hand in hand. Although I am working on my next couple of books, I still take the time to read because it brings me absolute joy.
Lately, I have been reading a lot of French literature. But I read and write because that is what I want to do for the rest of my life, alongside being a guide.
We create our reality! Therefore, whatever we do, it's up to us. You can be lazy and not do anything, but then you have a bleak future. Instead, work on what it is you truly desire.
If you are okay with your 9-5, then stick to that and grow in that. But if you want to really do something for yourself, then I suggest you put it into a routine. Create a routine where you work on your goals or whatever you want, every day at the same time! Creating a routine and sticking to it makes it a habitual habit that will help with not overthinking anything.

For instance, I used to wake up early to write, however, by the end of the day I would be so tired from going to work. Now what I do is I wake up around 6 am. Send my girls off to school and then I start working. I work for 4 hours with 20 minute breaks every here and there. That way I work on myself, and in the evening I can go work out because I am not drained. It is a habit I want to keep forever.
On weekends, I don’t have a schedule because I spend weekends having fun with my girls and my hubby. Maybe it slows down my progress? But at this point, it doesn’t matter because spending time with the girls and my hubby is honestly me refilling my creativity well.
This is a short blog but I hope you get the point.
